Clare Piper

In 2011 Clare moved to London to undergo an internship with Faye Toogood after graduating in 2D Fashion at UWE Bristol where she spent the majority of her degree learning about art direction and composition for photoshoots. Following that, She spent the next six months working at Anthropologie while she worked at building her interior styling portfolio in her own time, shooting tests whenever she could.
Her first role in the industry was at John Lewis where she spent a year assisting the Home Reloaded team on studio lifestyle photoshoots. In 2013 John Lewis began to hire Clare on a regular basis as one of their main stylists. It was during that time that she learnt how to design sets and refined her ability to compose beautiful still life product and interior compositions.
From there Clare’s client list has grown to include Channel 4, Not On The Highstreet, Minor Goods, George Home, Barratt Homes, Samsung and Shell to name but a few. She has had work featured in Elle Decoration and 91 Magazine and a also in Gestalten book, ‘Scandinavia Dreaming’.
Clare approaches every commission with a tireless energy, thriving on each part of the process from the initial stages of creating mood-boards and concept-ing, to sourcing the right products and props, and then bringing a brief to life on set with her meticulous eye and creative sensibility.
